Mission and vision

Our Mission 

Dance Marathon at Louisiana State University exists to raise funds and awareness for children and families impacted by pediatric illness and injury in our community through a year-long fundraising effort benefiting the area of greatest need within Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, while developing students into exceptional leaders that will continue a life in philanthropy through the future.

Our Vision 

Dance Marathon at Louisiana State University aspires to unite the LSU student body with the surrounding Baton Rouge community in support of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. We aim to maintain an inclusive and diverse team of student leaders, united in their efforts to change kids’ health and change the future. We will build upon the accomplishments of our predecessors and uphold the ideals and mission of our organization to remain the largest student philanthropy on campus become a leading student organization for LSU.
